This week on Trapping Across America we are interviewing the one and only Jeff Dunlap from Michigan. Jeff is one of the guys that makes his living from his fur catches. He has not picked the easy way to make his living, but because he is a dyed in the wool fur trappers he can not help himself. We talk about muskrat trapping in the marshes and bays of Michigan. His numbers are impressive trapping muskrats with footholds on feed beds. We also get into trapping raccoons and mink on the creeks and long lining otter in the south. Sometimes you have to separate the B.S. from what trappers say, but not with jeff. He says whats he means and it is refreshing to say the least. Jeff Dunlap will be at the NTA trapping convention in Ohio this year, so make sure to go by and say hello.

Snaring is simple in theory, but speed and number snaring takes planning and understanding. HIGH PERFORMANCE SNARING is pure speed and numbers snaring. See how you can take a lot of animals in a short amount of time, with less energy. There is some basic information given, but this DVD is more geared for guys that want to get into the numbers game with steel cable.

Great message about being careful what you post on the internet. Everybody should remember one simple thing – once you put something on the internet, there is NO WAY to take it back. You can delete it, but trust me, it can be retrieved and used against you. Every email you send, every phone call you make, every search term you type in – it’s all logged, stored and cataloged. There is NO anonymity on the internet. Every keystroke you type can and will be traced back to you if needed.
